Palpation

  • A major difference with Hari and other forms of acupuncture is that the diagnostic info we receive from palpation is more advanced. Because Hari originated from the discoveries of blind masters of acupuncture, our language of palpation has greater depth of information. Blind people have the ability to “see” with their fingertips, and feel whether a point is open or closed.

There is an incredible wealth of information on the surface of the skin, and as we teach our students to go further in developing this skill they find point selection to become much more effective. Using this method of touch diagnosis, we become more sensitive to energy and Ki diagnosis. All of this advanced skill helps our patients experience better results when they receive treatment. Remember, “In any given day we may be the only human being who touches the patient.”
