So when I am stepping, now all of the focus at first needs to be on opening kidney 1. As I feel the strengthening of the structure, which allows Kidney 1 to open up, the structure creates a greater flow of Qi. I can see in my mind’s eye the opening of the 5th metatarsal bone, the joints of the ankle, toes, and then a MAGNETIC FEELING associated with my awareness after you practice long enough. The magnet extends from the heel and Achilles region forward along the bladder meridian and underneath the bladder meridian. My root to my Tree of Life is opening and becoming stronger, while this hollowing sensation under kidney 1 increases. After several months Kidney 1 has developed the ability to rotate clockwise and counterclockwise in opening and closing of my structure.
I can feel Kidney 1 opening, the ankle joint opening, the knee joint opening, and the hip joint opening, and the Tan Tien threading this energy up and down my leg through kidney 1. My hands, elbows, arms, and shoulder joint open and close through the Tan Tien and are linked to each foot and each kidney 1. My structure is becoming more unified, and now when I move through my form from posture to posture I am becoming more aware of sensations than ever before. I can open and close, I can rotate the area around Kidney 1 to move my hands, and I can feel deeper connections between feet and hands. This new awareness of energy and sensations within my body becoming more connected is an awesome feeling. I can only describe my new sensations as becoming magnetic through kidney 1 and my whole feet, legs, hips, and whole body.
This magnetic feeling of opening and closing creates greater strength in my ability to stand on one foot and bear all of my weight without collapsing the structure. I become aware of Gallbladder 34, the ankle joint and point at gallbladder 40, bladder 62 opening to bladder 67 and stability under spleen 2-3 region under the foot does not wobble. My points at liver 8 and kidney 10 awaken, and yin energy is drawing up the structure, rising into the gua, and releasing the hip joint down gallbladder 31 back to gallbladder 34 and down the leg again.
This opening and closing of meridians and anatomical structures is indeed fascinating. But to have these new magnetic sensations keep expanding while doing the form, makes the Wu Style Tai Chi Form much more amazing of an adventure. When I think of this adventure, I am excited to take the rest of my life enjoying this adventure. I will never stop practicing this form, I will never stop doing this spiritual exercise, and I will never stop growing from the experience of doing Wu Style Tai Chi. As my meridians become clear, as my blockages are encountered and released, then I become a more whole human being.
With Wu Style Tai Chi I feel like I am tapping into my unlimited potential as a human being. I feel like the blockages of power, spiritual gifts, and abilities can be tapped into with steady and consistent practice. There is something profound and deeply spiritual for me when doing this form, because I am truly entered into a deeply meditative state while putting my mind fully inside my body. To put your mind, to put your awareness, to put all of your consciousness into different acupuncture meridians, points, and energy anatomy….to do that…completely changes you in such a profound way. There are not sufficient words in the English language to describe what this Tai Chi can do to your mind and personality.
I can tell you how much I transition energy, weight, and awareness during the walk. I can tell you how much I recognize this walk throughout the form, and I am so grateful to be aware of these things while I am in my form. There is a good reason why Tai Chi is known as “The Supreme Ultimate”. It’s the ultimate internal journey, there is nothing greater that I have ever experienced inside a human form, and as long as I have searched I have never found anything else that even comes close to it. I hope you will try it someday, really give it a good shot, and make sure you have fun awakening your dormant potential through Tai Chi.
Keep training,
Brian
